Move to Stay Warm was Luke's first solo album. It was recorded in 2006 with the help of many friends. MTSW was made entirely through trade and volunteer hours by musicians and artists in various locations around Guelph, Aurora and Pottageville Ontario. The recording "My Ghost" for example, was in exchange for Luke's vintage Van Halen T-Shirt. 200 copies of the album were then handmade with fellow songwriter, Richard Laviolette. Every copy was sold by the end of Luke and Dave Lotimer's "East Meets West" cross Canada tour the following year. These are Luke's favourite tracks.
